Big Texan Steak Ranch.
We had been there before on a previous cross-country-trip. I really like the atmosphere and the set-up. I really wanted to stop there on the way back and I am glad we did. This time we found out about "Out Back", which was so cool. They had this big chair, I felt like a big kid sitting in it. It was very difficult to get out of once you got in. They had a cool stagecoach with a driver even! AND I got to pose with their big FREE 72oz. Steak promotion sign. I made a face like how I imagined I would if I had actually eaten all that food. Last time we were there a guy actually tried to eat it. I thought that was so cool to be watching. Poor guy though, as soon as he saw how much food was there, it was like he just gave up. That is a lot of food. I can't believe any one can eat it all! But apparently many people have!

I really love this place. They have great fudge, a cool gift shop, good food and fun stuff to do for the kids (even the grown up kids). This time they had a guitar (git-ar) playing man who sang some great songs to us. I really like him a lot too.
Maybe next time we can stay in their hotel. The rooms looked really sweet!
Did I mention that I love this place? Maybe too, next time, I will give their FREE steak meal a try?
You can't miss this place. It's on the I40 in Amarillo, Texas. They have signs along the freeway going East or West telling you about the FREE 72oz. Steak. Go for it!
