Thunderbird Lake -Oklahoma

We spent two afternoons at Thunderbird Lake.  The first afternoon we met an artist Randy K. Clay and the coolest ranger who gave us some great suggestions of things to do in Norman, Oklahoma.  As chance would have it, there were 3 Art festivals/shows going on around and in Norman.  We love ART!

The next afternoon, we B.B.Q.'d hot dogs, chicken sausages and hot beef sausages.  Yummy!  We had a great time, but had to leave early as we started to become dinner for huge amounts of miniature flying creatures.

There were many boats on the water. All the picnic tables and B.B.Q. areas were being used.  Everyone we met AND their dogs were very polite and nice.  We had a great time and had plenty of leftovers to take to the hotel fridge.
