Elvis and Boomerang Diner

Driving to Paul's Valley, Oklahoma.
We had a long drive to get to where we were going, but it was a beautiful drive and surely worth it.  We were heading to Paul's Valley, Oklahoma to visit The Toy and Action Figure Museum.  We were all tired and hungry and somewhat crabby, so, walking from the parking lot we rounded the corner and were extremely pleased to see a Boomerang Diner right next to our destination.  With a sigh of relief and no arguments from anyone, we all entered and were told to sit wherever we liked.  Everyone was dressed up for a local festival called Brickfest.

We ordered iced-tea with lemon and they brought it to us in style.  My kind of style.  A huge, gigantic glass...Yay...with the best crushed ice.  If that's all I was told I could have, I would have been a happy camper with just that!  Then all of a sudden  A VOICE penetrates the atmosphere.  We turned to see what was going on.  IT WAS ELVIS (or one of the better impersonators I had witnessed).  His voice and timing and beat were amazing.  If I didn't know any better I would have said it was Elvis!  He was great.  Everyone's attitude changed.  Some of us were giddy, some totally embarrassed beyond imagination and had to relieve themselves, one was the camerman and had no choice.  Ha ha ha. Oh, what fun we had that day and that was JUST the beginning!

Elvis (Impersonator) Singing That's All Right (Mama) awakening from our reverie of hunger and exhaustion to excitement and joy!  What a spectacular treat was in store.

He also sang One Night and Hard Headed Woman.

Great Videos of a true Maestro!

Alert:  Elvis is alive and well in Paul's Valley, Oklahoma.
