We went to the 5th Floor Game Room which had a wonderful panoramic-view window facing west. There had been a storm a-brewin' all day and here we would be able to see it in relative safety, we hoped, and would be able to get some good footage, we hoped, of some legendary Oklahoma lightning. We were not disappointed.This one was definitely worth waiting for!
It was never really boring because even though you can't see it in the video (the camera was pointing directly forward) there were flashes all around us constantly, and it seemed mostly when the camera was turned off! We were trying to take short videos and sure enough when the camera was off, voilà, another awesome flash. This was lightning like we had never experienced before.
