It was a freezing cold day when we visited. I am from California, it was April, time for shorts right? Ha ha ha. NOT in Norman, Oklahoma apparently. I just about froze my buns off, but thankfully it was comfortable in the museum. Now if I could only stay there all day!
They were having some type of service downstairs. There was singing and talking and it smelled like a feast to me. It was lunch time and I was pretty hungry so I was somewhat distracted. I am glad they let you take pictures so I can go back and peruse them. Now only if I had written down the names of these paintings, but maybe you will recognize some of them. We weren't allowed to take pictures in some of the rooms, but these are great anyway.
If you ever get to Norman, Oklahoma which is just directly south of Oklahoma City, spend a day or two and really see the sites. OU, Campus Corner, Thunderbird Lake are just a few of the things you should see.
